The Coterie’s Annual Charity Coffeehouse is coming up soon!
On February 2, 2012, (7:00 PM is when it starts!) at the Spoke, we will be having a fun coffee-filled night of music, spoken word, and other performances. We’ll even have an open-mic for any of you brave enough to grace the stage with your presence.
On a more serious note, I just want to emphasize the importance of our charity event, because in doing so, we hope to pose a united stance on the need to help those who cannot help themselves. It’s cold outside (I’m sure we grumble about it), but I hope that we can take some time out of our busy lives to think about those who must face the harsh winters or feel hunger on a daily basis. This is our chance to give what we can.
All we ask is for one (or more!) non-perishable food item(s). All the proceeds we receive will go directly to the London Food Bank.
Come out for a great night that will be fun and surely to put us all on a high (a coffee high, that is!)
